Going for a walk has never been this exciting.
Yep, it’s finally open. Making your Sentosa Island experience even more memorable, the latest addition, Sensoryscape, invites Singaporeans and visitors alike to dive into an immersive multisensory adventure, adding an exciting twist to the island getaway.
While many opt to travel to Sentosa via the Sentosa Express or Cable Car, now there’s an even cooler way to explore the island—by foot! Stretching over 350 meters, this ridge-to-reef attraction seamlessly connects visitors from Resorts World Sentosa to Sentosa’s stunning beaches.
This is Your Sign to Experience Sentosa’s Sensoryscape
Seamlessly blending nature, architecture, technology, and imagination, Sensoryscape on Sentosa Island combines mesmerizing soundscapes, interactive digital light art, and augmented reality features, promising to transform the ordinary walking experience into an extraordinary adventure.

Every visitor that comes to Singapore, we hope they come to Sentosa to enjoy Sensoryscape.”
Located at the heart of Sentosa, Sensoryscape offers a rich sensory experience through six distinct gardens: (1) Lookout Loop, (2) Tactile Trellis, (3) Scented Sphere, (4) Symphony Streams, (5) Palate Playground, and (6) Glow Garden. Each section is enriched with its own immersive audio-visual experiences, ranging from captivating digital light art to AR.
What are the Sensoryscape Attractions in Sentosa?
Be prepared to be treated to Sentosa’s dazzling array of attractions, which will surely get your senses going. Oh, and don’t forget your phone! Besides snapping pictures, you’ll want it handy for some extra fun on the immersive walkway.
If you’re flying solo and feeling a bit shy about asking someone to take your picture, no worries. Sensoryscape’s Hyperzoom camera has got your back. Positioned on the upper deck, it’ll capture that perfect zoomed-in shot or video of you. Cool, right?
- Lookout Loop
Nestled among tall Mempat trees, vibrant seasonal flowers, and lush greenery, this open plaza boasts a spiral walkway that treats visitors to stunning views of the northern landscapes, including the sea and surrounding foliage. To keep visitors refreshed, intermittent mist effects on the illuminated floor provide a cooling touch during the day, while at night, the area comes alive with dazzling laser beams shooting up into the sky.
- Tactile Trellis
True to its name, this place is all about texture—featuring the softness of Chinese Woodworm, the lightness of Asparagus plants, and the prickliness of Juniperus species, all housed in petal-like granolithic vessels. Surrounding the area are pink Mempat trees, which, during the blossoming season, evoke the same beauty as cherry blossoms.
- Scented Sphere
Imagine a place where you can literally smell the surroundings. Surrounded by lush foliage, each breath is a journey through nature’s fragrant palette. The Scented Sphere, with its porous steel vessel, harbors a symphony of scents, inviting you to explore the delicate aromas that dance in the air.
- Symphony of Streams
Transporting visitors into a dreamy journey at Sensoryscape’s Symphony Streams, this tranquil spot, blending seamlessly with the coastal breeze, features running water flowing through a diagrid structure inspired by woven baskets. Close your eyes for a moment, and you’ll feel as though you’re by a river or a small waterfall, completely immersed in the soothing ambiance.
- Palate Playground
A garden bursting with many flavorful delights, Palate Playground is home to fragrant herbs and exotic spices that can inspire interactive activities like herb and spice workshops, tea tasting, and other culinary experiences. Visitors can also take a breather and unwind in the cozy log seats crafted from recycled Tembusu trees harvested right here on the island.
- Glow Garden
Situated at the southern end of Sentosa Sensoryscape, Glow Garden dazzles with rows of mesmerizing giant flower stalks. When night falls, these stalks awaken, painting the plaza with a symphony of shifting colors and illuminating the surroundings. For the ultimate experience, yes, it’s best to visit after dark, where you can witness this breathtaking spectacle accompanied by soothing music for a truly enchanting evening.
Besides the five senses, Singapore’s Sensoryscape also introduces another experience that engages the imagination through a night-time experience with digital light art projection with AR called the ImagiNite. In the words of Deputy Director of Planning and Architecture at SDC, Ms. Chiong Gee Khoon, “We hope to create an immersive and enchanting sensory journey, where guests can discover more of Sentosa and awaken their senses. This experience will be refreshed over time, with new surprises introduced along the way.”
Sentosa Sensoryscape awaits your visit with open arms, inviting you to immerse yourself in its wonders from the moment you step onto the island. The magical ImagiNite experience begins at 7:50 pm, promising an evening filled with joy and delight. Best of all, admission is free, ensuring that everyone can join in the fun and create unforgettable memories under the starry skies of Sentosa.
