Following her breakout role in Past Lives, the Korean American actress now captivates as the striking face of Calvin Klein’s Fall 2024 campaign.
There’s an undeniable allure to Greta Lee that’s hard to ignore. In Past Lives, she masterfully conveyed deep, complex emotions with a subtle grace that resonated with audiences. Her presence is magnetic, effortlessly expressing a spectrum of feelings without uttering a word. Now, she channels that same captivating vibe into her newest role: global ambassador for Calvin Klein.
Fresh from SEVENTEEN’s Mingyu campaign, the iconic American luxury brand has unveiled its latest star, The Morning Show’s Greta Lee, in their Fall 2024 underwear campaign. Joining the ranks of A-list names like Jungkook and Kendall Jenner, the award-winning actress brings fresh, sizzling energy to the campaign, directed and shot by Mert Alas.
Greta Lee Exudes Confidence in Calvin Klein’s Latest Underwear Campaign
Beyond the film set, Greta continues to captivate with striking, high-fashion images in Calvin Klein’s latest campaign. She confidently showcases the brand’s 2024 underwear collection—from the lightweight modal blend and mesh lining of Modern Cotton Air to the all-over intimate lace designs of Sheer Marquisette—moving through the day with an effortless blend of style and strength.
Set to the beat of The Go-Go’s classic “We Got the Beat,” the campaign amplifies Greta’s vibrant energy and distinct style, celebrating her authentic, sensual, and empowered self. Stepping out of her comfort zone, Greta shares the personal significance of this campaign: “I was able to truly show up as myself and lean into a side of myself that I’ve never shown before. Working with Mert and the Calvin Klein team and dressed almost exclusively in underwear, I tapped into this sense of confidence, empowerment, and gratitude for my life, my family, and my body. It was a radical and emotional experience for me, and I’m so proud of it.”
Greta made her entertainment industry debut in 2006 with a guest appearance on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, but it was her role as the quirky Soojin in HBO’s Girls that first caught attention. Her breakout performance in Past Lives earned her critical acclaim, including a Critics’ Choice Award, solidifying her status as a formidable talent.
Currently, Greta stars as Stella Bak in Apple TV+’s The Morning Show, and she recently wrapped filming Tron: Ares alongside Jared Leto, set for release in 2025. She’s also set to reprise her role as Lyla in the upcoming Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse.
As the new face of Calvin Klein, Greta Lee embodies a modern blend of strength, sensuality, and authenticity. Her journey from indie film standout to global fashion icon is a testament to her versatility and boldness. With this latest campaign, Greta not only showcases Calvin Klein’s iconic designs but also redefines what it means to be confident, empowered, and true to oneself.
Have you seen the campaign? It’s a celebration of everything Greta Lee stands for—and a glimpse of what you can do too if you embrace your own unique style and confidence. Whether you’re stepping out of your comfort zone or owning your everyday moments, Greta’s journey shows that true empowerment comes from being unapologetically yourself.
