The wait is over! After teasing us on social media for days, Bruno Mars and BLACKPINK’s Rosé have officially released their collab single “APT†(short for apateu, or 아파트)—inspired by Rosé’s favorite Korean drinking game! How fun is that?
But wait, there’s more. Alongside the song comes a playful music video, where Rosé lounges effortlessly in front of a drum set while Bruno, the multi-Grammy legend, sits behind it, drumsticks in hand, looking like he’s ready to rock. The cover art was dropped just a day before the release, and fans are already obsessed.

For all the loyal BLINKs out there, seeing Rosé gearing up for her first-ever full-length album rosie (coming December 6!) is such pure joy. Yes, mark your calendars—it’s happening!
After the massive success of her 2021 solo project R, which gave us hits like On the Ground and Gone, Rosé is back, showing off her versatility in this unexpected, super-fun collab with Bruno Mars. He’s known for his electrifying stage presence and a wide range of genres—pop, R&B, funk, you name it—and now he’s brought his magic to APT.
Haven’t listened to APT yet? You need to! It’s an electro-pop vibe that’s so catchy and energetic, you’ll want it on loop. The chemistry between Rosé and Bruno is something we didn’t know we needed—it’s playful, laid-back, and hyped all at once. Before the song’s release, Rosé shared a Polaroid of them with the caption: “The night I taught Bruno how to play a Korean drinking game.†Bruno’s cheeky reply? “So much fun! Remember when you tried to kiss me? That was weird. Other than that, sick pic!”
On Bruno’s side, he posted about the game too, joking: “So this was me hanging on for dear life after Rosé introduced me to this Korean drinking game and got me saucy. Soon after, she tried to kiss me, and I was like ‘Woah Rosie! What part of the game is this?’ She was like, ‘I ain’t playin’ games with you anymore, lil boy! Big Rosie bout that BIDNESS!’ Shaken, I replied ‘Stop Rosie, I’m scared!’ But other than that, super chill night.”
This was also replied to by the South Korean singer-songwriter with: “What’s wrong with uuuu†and followed by Ed Sheeran chiming in with, “Is everything alright, mate?†We’re living for this playful vibe between them!
Rosé’s upcoming album rosie is set to drop soon, and it’s clear she’s put her heart and soul into it. In her own words, she’s “poured her blood and tears into this album,†calling it a little journal that she’s excited to share with the world. And while we wait, we can’t help but get excited for what’s next from BLACKPINK’s other members too—Jennie just released her confidence-boosting single Mantra, and there’s no doubt more amazing solo projects are coming our way.
