It’s official: the Korean superstar member of BLACKPINK has been named by PUMA as the sportswear brand’s newest global brand ambassador. Known for her fashion influence in K-pop, the 27-year-old singer has been tapped to further amplify PUMA’s portfolio of iconic footwear models and support the “Rewrite the Classics” program, highlighting timeless styles like Palermo and Speedcat.
In a statement released by Rosé, she shared: “I am very excited to join the PUMA family. I can’t wait for my fans to join my next chapter with PUMA.”

Rocking in a stylish PUMA tracksuit paired with Palermo sneakers, Rosé joins the elite roaster of PUMA Sportstyle ambassadors, like Rihanna, A$AP Rocky, Dua Lipa, and Skepta. Making a surprise appearance at the brand’s press conference in Germany, the vampirehollie singer, known for her record-breaking music video views on YouTube with On the Ground in 2021, continues to influence music, fashion, and culture.
PUMA’s Chief Product Officer, Maria Valdes, expressed excitement about Rosé joining the team, highlighting her diverse role in redefining classic styles. Valdes added, “Her unique perspective will be instrumental in amplifying PUMA’s “Rewrite the Classics” program, highlighting franchises such as Palermo, and Speedcat, among others. We are delighted to welcome her to our PUMA family, and we eagerly look forward to what we will achieve together.”
Most recently, following BLACKPINK’s departure from YG Entertainment for solo activities, Rosé has officially signed a contract with THE BLACK LABEL, which is owned by the South Korean girl group’s long-time producer Teddy Park. In the statement released by THE BLACK LABEL: “Hello, this is The Black Label. We have signed a management contract with artiste Rose. Teddy and Rose have worked together as producer and artiste for a long time, and recently, a management contract with The Black Label was signed, based on the mutual trust they share.”
In 2021, Teddy Park and Rosé collaborated on her debut single album, R. And now, the two have continued to work together as Rosé prepares to reach her global fanbase with new music, exploring future collaborations with international record labels.Before Rosé’s move to THE BLACK LABEL, other BLACKPINK members established their solo ventures following the expiration of their contracts with YG Entertainment: Jennie with OA (Odd Atelier), Lisa with LLOUD, and Jisoo with Blissoo.
