BLACKPINK’s Lisa is Now the CEO of Her Own Label, LLOUD

February 13, 2024

Sharing is caring!

The K-pop idol launched her talent agency after the recent launch of Jennie’s OA.

As if her name does not ring enough, Lisa further amplifies her solo ventures as she officially launches her label, LLOUD. On February 8, the Thai-born Korean superstar took to Instagram and shared a photo to mark the grand launch of her management, all geared up to handle her activities.

Accompanied by a black-and-white photo of the BLACKPINK rapper in a stylish suit and accessorized with bold rings and colored French manicures, Lisa made introductions of the company to her 100 million followers on Instagram. “Introducing LLOUD, a platform to showcase my vision in music and entertainment. Join me on this exciting journey to push through new boundaries together.”

Here’s What We Know So Far of Lisa’s LLOUD

While it remains unconfirmed whether the name LLOUD is a nod to Lisa’s full name, Lalisa Manobal, the label agency has undeniably generated anticipation and curiosity within the K-pop community. As of this writing, it has swiftly garnered a following of almost a million—despite having only three rows of black-and-white photos featuring Lisa.

In addition to the Instagram announcement, Lisa provided a link to the label’s website, featuring the official accounts on social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok. As described in its short brief, LLOUD is an artist management company that aims to “create experiences that transcend genres and connect generations.” As posted on the website: “Our core lies in relentless innovation and a commitment to authenticity. We’re not just pushing boundaries; we’re redefining them, crafting chart-topping and genre-defying music. Embrace the beginning of the LLOUD era with us.”

With her A-list collaborations and influential presence in both the music and beauty industries, Lisa undeniably possesses global potential. The LLOUD website showcases her participation in campaigns for Bulgari and ELLE Taiwan. Noteworthy accomplishments include her “Spotify Billions Club” interview and a stellar performance at Le Gala Piéces Jaunes.

To note, this pivotal step in her career comes after the non-renewal of BLACKPINK’s individual contracts with YG Entertainment, even as they persist in their group activities. In December, Jennie took the lead by introducing her agency, ODD ATELIER. Simultaneously, Lisa has embarked on her solo journey with the launch of her label, LLOUD.

Meanwhile, there’s ongoing speculation regarding Jisoo and Rosé’s future involvement with other labels in the music industry. Notably, the group’s contract renewal hints at a major comeback for BLACKPINK later this year, featuring a new record and an upcoming world tour, as confirmed in an official statement from YG Entertainment.

What do you think are the other surprises that the BLACKPINK members are brewing up this year? For sure, it will “hit you with that ddu-du ddu-du”—so keep posted for the freshest updates!
