The Album of the Year award winner made a surprise announcement during her acceptance speech.
As if making a historic win at the Grammys was not enough, Taylor Swift surprised both the audience and fans with the announcement of the impending arrival of her 11th studio album. Set for release on April 19, The Tortured Poets Department comes with 16 songs and one bonus track, including collaborations with Post Malone and Florence + The Machine.
The American pop star, who won her 13th Grammy Award for Best Pop Vocal Album for Midnights, thanked her fans for their support and said that she wanted to repay them by telling a secret that she has been keeping for two years. “Okay, this is my 13th Grammy, which is my lucky number. I don’t know if I’ve ever told you that. So, I wanna say thank you to the fans by telling you a secret that I’ve been keeping from you for the last two years, which is that my brand-new album comes out April 19th.â€
