Are You Ready to Get Transported to Stranger Things’ Upside Down?

June 12, 2023

Sharing is caring!

The immersive pop-up is coming to Singapore at the Bugis+ Mall starting June 30!

Missing the 1980s nostalgia thrill of Stranger Things? Well, it’s time to spice things up while we get ready for the final chapter as Netflix joins forces with the Singapore-based collectible-maker, Mighty Jaxx, in bringing an immersive experience to Burgis+.

Starting June 30, you can join Eleven, Mike, Will, Dustin, Lucas, and the rest of the gang at Stranger Things—The Encounter: Singapore. Relive the catastrophic battles with Vecna and prepare to explore the other side of Hawkins—the Upside Down—in a pop-up that spans two locations in the mall.

Here’s Everything You Need to Know about ‘Stranger Things—The Encounter’ in Singapore

Prepare to step into the extraordinary world of Stranger Things, with six experiential rooms dedicated to transporting you straight into the stimulating realms depicted in the series. This awesome adventure guarantees to transport hardcore fans and curious visitors alike into the very heart of the show’s iconic location.

From venturing into the eerie Upside Down world to exploring the mysterious laboratory that housed Millie Bobby Brown, also known as Eleven, every aspect of this experience has been thoughtfully crafted to captivate and bring nostalgia while waiting for Season 5. There’s also the Palace Arcade, Joyce’s House, and the Creel House. How cool is that?

If you think that’s all, wait until you see what Mighty Experiences has to offer: Stranger Things-inspired food and beverage (remember Surfer Boy Pizza and Scoops Ahoy ice cream? Well, prepare to indulge!) and collectibles and merchandise that you can purchase at, none other than, the Starcourt Mall area!

And the fun does not end there. Free access is available to all visitors at the Stranger Things Visitor Center on the second floor of Bugis+, where the photography zone and merchandise pop-up are located. This pop-up will run from June 30 to October 1, with tickets now on sale here.

Stranger Things—The Encounter Singapore Pop-up Experience

Ticket prices start at S$39 per person on weekdays and S$49 on weekends. Priority Pass tickets are available for S$109 (weekdays) and S$119 (weekends). These come with an exclusive merch bundle: the Hellfire Club cap and T-shirt.

Stranger Things—The Encounter: Singapore is open from Monday to Thursday from 2 pm to 10 pm, while the fun starts at 10 am to 10 pm on weekends, including Fridays. Aside from Singapore, other cities that hosted this experiential pop-up include Los Angeles, Paris, and Milan.

As the Founder and Chief Executive of Mighty Jaxx Jackson Aw puts it: “We are excited to bring to Singapore this immersive retail experience, built around the timeless Stranger Things narrative of friendships and adventure that we have all come to love.”

Get ready to embark on a thrilling journey down memory lane as we revisit your favorite Hawkins locations! The anticipation is building, and to ensure you don’t miss out on this extraordinary experience, make sure to book your tickets in advance.

Don’t forget to invite your friends and family members to join in on the adventure, because this is an experience meant to be shared. Get ready to create unforgettable memories together. See you!
