The international hip-hop music festival unites the finest talents of the West and East, creating a musical experience no one will ever forget.
The heat still lingers and the vibrant experience remains vivid despite the recent conclusion of the three-day international music festival, Rolling Loud Thailand 2023. Sprawling at Legend Siam Theme Park at the beachside of Pattaya, Thailand, the first-ever edition of the US hip-hop festival in Asia intensified the fun that already is, coinciding with the country’s celebration of the water-soaked Songkran.
With such a spacious festival site, enormous stages with crystal-clear LED screens, thunderous sound systems, and a bonfire’s worth of pyrotechnics, participating in this year’s Rolling Loud was more than worth it. Serving plenty of food to choose from—from Thai cuisine to international flavors to satisfy your cravings—the music fest also heightened the vibe experience by providing free tattoos and cannabis to the bold and adventurous of hearts.
In addition to that, fashion and brand pop-up experiences were also made available to complete the hype, particularly the apparel customization shop presented by festival sponsor Levi’s. In celebration of the 150th anniversary of the iconic 501® jeans and hip-hop’s 50th anniversary, the two joined hands for a unique customization offered exclusively on Rolling Loud grounds. This partnership was first launched during the Rolling Loud California, with a special limited-edition capsule rolled out exclusively to each festival city.
Rolling Loud Thailand: An Experience to Remember
Likened to Coachella’s cooler older brother that particularly caters to the hip-hop and rap genre, Rolling Round Thailand 2023 served us with a perfect blend of raw talents and creativity by pooling the biggest names in the music industry. Headlined by Cardi B, Chris Brown, DaBaby, and Travis Scott, the event featured a non-stop lineup of incredible artists, rappers, and hip-hop artists, including homegrown talents and Asian hip-hop artists from around the region.
Present during the event were Lil Uzi Vert, Rae Sremmurd, Offset, Central Cee, Lil Pump, Ski Mask the Slump God, Sheck Wes, and, of course, Asian representatives, with the likes of BIBI, Jessi, Jay Park, Joe Flizzow, F-Hero, VannDa, Teriyaki Boyz, Thaitanium, Ramengvrl, pH-1, OG Bobby, Awich, Yung Raja, and many others. Overall, it was like grooving and moving around the same DNA, interpreted through different languages—a refreshing fusion that we absolutely love!
To say Rolling Loud Thailand was a fun experience is an understatement. With entertaining bangers, extremely exuberant sets, a nonstop showcase of Asian and Western talents, plus the activities you can do on the sidelines, the event was indeed a bombastic celebration of swag and diversity—a music festival that you will definitely look forward to joining once again, getting you all excited for more.
