Savor the sweetness of this delightful treat with its exquisite texture and flavor—perfect for the holiday season!

Takashimaya’s Food Hall has always been the ultimate go-to place for food enthusiasts in Singapore, especially for those craving Japanese food. Adding to the seemingly boundless array of food options is the chic Japanese cookie brand, Press Butter Sand. Known for its uniquely shaped sandwich butter cookies, these delights boast a crispy texture complemented by luscious buttercream and caramel.

Now, if that does make your taste buds tingle with anticipation, prepare to embark on a flavorful journey as Press Butter Sand brings its signature touch of elegance and deliciousness to the diverse culinary offerings at Singapore’s favorite pitstop near Orchard Road or Somerset.

Press Butter Sand is Now Open in Singapore!

Opened on December 8, Japan’s cult favorite sandwich cookie has finally made its way to Singapore. Boasting a remarkable presence with over 30 successful outlets across Japan, Korea, and Hong Kong, the new establishment at Takashimaya promises a delectable experience for Singaporeans who have been wanting to try this treat.

First established at Tokyo Station in 2017 by Bake Inc., the team behind the widely acclaimed Japanese cheese tart brand Bake Cheese Tart, Press Butter Sand has become a standout treat in its own right. Notably, Bake Cheese Tart has garnered immense popularity in Singapore since its introduction in 2016, with people queuing for up to two hours to relish its delectable mousse-like cream cheese filling and crisp pastry.

Now, serving yet another delightful experience to Singaporeans, Press Butter Sand continues its legacy with an exquisite treat featuring a double-layered filling. Combining the fluffy Hokkaido buttercream with smooth caramel, the sandwich is perfected by pressing two cookies together, sealing the delectable layers. Crafted with the meticulous “Hasami-yaki” method, these sandwiches achieve a perfect harmony of texture and flavor, elevating each cookie to the status of a culinary masterpiece.

While Japan boasts seven tempting flavors, the Singapore outlet, for now, introduces three delicious options. The lineup includes the Original (S$22.50 for five pieces, S$60 for 15 pieces), Uji Matcha (S$24 for five pieces, S$40.50 for nine pieces), and Chocolate (S$24 for five pieces, S$40.50 for nine pieces).

Indulge in these delectable treats at Press Butter Sand, located at B2 Takashimaya Department Store, 391 Orchard Road, Singapore. Operating daily from 10 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., it’s an experience not to be missed. For more information, check out their website and Instagram. Enjoy the goodness!
