Sharing is caring!

The experiential event dedicated to sneakerheads is coming to Singapore for its immersive and large-scale exhibition of sneakers.

Fresh from its successful debut in Los Angeles, California, Sneakertopia is coming to Singapore this February 25 to make its first wave in Asia. The one-of-a-kind sneaker and culture exhibition celebrates unique creativity, innovation, and self-expression.

Organized by SPACElogic in partnership with the ArtScience Museum in Singapore, the event brings to life the passion and culture born on the street among sneakerheads. Phenomenally driven by artists, athletes, and celebrities who have been so expressive of love for the arts through sneakers and their design, the 2023 Asian and Southeast Asian premiere of Sneakertopia brings together local and international artists, contributors, and brands across sports and entertainment.

Sneakertopia: A Quick Background

This exciting exhibition began in Los Angeles as conceptualized by  Emmy Award-winning producer Steve Harris alongside Silicon Valley tech entrepreneur Steve Brown in 2019. Their love for the iconic footwear served as an inspiration to open this event to diverse audiences from all around the world.

After its successful launch in Los Angeles, the event makes its first immersive and large-scale exhibition in Singapore, in partnership with Gushcloud International and SL Experiences.

Here’s the Exciting Part: Sneakertopia to Feature Limited Edition Sneakers

If you’re a fan of collecting sneakers, then this is the ultimate event that you shouldn’t miss, as more than 100 limited-edition sneakers from the most iconic brands in the industry will be featured. Serving as a perfect backdrop to fuel the fire for creativity and passion, there will also be 50 murals, installations, designs, and displays across genres—from entertainment to sports, films, and the arts.

Displays also include the works of the 13 top U.S. creatives, including McFlyy, Michael Murphy, and Mimi Yoon, who have headlined America’s street and pop culture. Not only that, but to celebrate Singapore’s creative practices as well as those of Southeast Asia, this particular rendition of Sneakertopia will also feature the works of 16 Singaporean and locally-based artists, consisting of Jahan Loh, Sam Lo, Soph O, Juls, Kristal Melson, and of course, contemporary art and design collective PHUNK.

Tommii Lim and smoluk will also showcase their never-before-seen artworks that were  particularly created for the iteration of Sneakertopia.
