Singaporean singer-songwriter Jason Yu has officially gifted his followers and fans a new year treat. At midnight on Friday, January 8, Yu dropped a brand new single titled Make Her Mine. This is the fourth and the latest single from a series of releases leading to his upcoming EP, which will be announced at a later date.
The song introduces listeners to a markedly different sound from the folksy-pop love anthems that Yu presented in his past singles. “Make Her Mine” offers an indie-pop tune, making it a breath of fresh air for his listeners.
In his official Press Release, the 27-year-old singer-songwriter says, “I had so much fun bringing Make Her Mine to life because it’s so different to what my audiences are used to. It’s nice sometimes to be able to pause life for just a bit, and look back at the older, simpler days.”
