Sharing is caring!

The popular American pay-TV channel scored an impressive 93 Emmy nominations, surpassing HBO and Max, and coming in just behind Netflix as the second most nominated network of the year.

It’s Emmy season once again! Past Emmy winners Tony Hale (Veep) and Shery Lee Ralph (Abbott Elementary) announced the top nominees live from the El Capitan Theater in Hollywood for the 76th Emmy Awards.

While it feels like the 2023 Emmys just happened in January 2024—due to the delays caused by last year’s SAG-AFTRA and Writers Guild of America strikes—excitement is already building for this year’s event.

Here’s the Complete List of Nominees for 2024 Primetime Emmy Awards

Eligible shows for nomination this year were those released between June 1, 2023, and May 31, 2024. Leading the pack is the historical Japan-set epic drama Shōgun, earning 25 nods. Close behind is The Bear, which broke the record for a comedy series with 23 nominations, including Outstanding Comedy Series, surpassing the 22-nomination record held by 30 Rock since 2009. The all-time series record of 32 nominations has been held by HBO’s Game of Thrones since 2016.

Only Murders in the Building also garnered 21 nominations, followed by True Detective: Night Country with 19, and the final season of The Crown snagging 18. Netflix leads the overall nominations with 107, followed by FX with 93 and HBO with 91.

The awards night is slated to take place at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles on September 15 and will be aired on ABC. Here’s the complete list of contenders for the annual Emmy Awards:
