Renowned Master Chef Jun Takahashi is making a triumphant return to Singapore with a limited four-night event, titled “Natsu No Umi,” from July 3rd to 6th at Takahashi Singapore. Known for his acclaimed restaurant in Ginza, Japan, where reservations often require a year-long wait, Chef Jun Takahashi himself will be delighting guests with his celebrated $520++ omakase dinner. This marks his second visit to Singapore, following a successful sold-out debut that left diners eagerly anticipating his return.
A Culinary Journey Unlike Any Other
Jun Takahashi leads the immersive “Natsu No Umi” experience, a premium omakase journey through up to 18 meticulously curated courses. This showcase includes appetizer-style dishes and expertly executed sushi creations, blending traditional techniques with the finest seasonal ingredients.
The meal commences with a luxurious Hanasaki Crab Chawanmushi, harvested from the pristine waters off Hokkaido, layered atop a silky-smooth steamed egg custard. Fans of Takahashi Singapore’s signature Karesansui Zen Garden Platter can enjoy chef’s daily seasonal picks, featuring three types of exquisite appetizers expertly prepared. With an aromatic flourish at the table, the Japanese Style Ajillo elevates Hokkigai, or surf clams, and shellfish with the simplicity of Spanish tapas infused with refined Japanese flavors. A highly celebrated dish at Takahashi restaurant’s head branch, Fried Tachiuo, the popular summer fish also known as Japanese samurai swordfish, will now be exclusively available in Singapore for this limited-time event.
