After six years, the trending beverage is finally available in Singapore. Is it worth the hype?
Starbucks’ Pink Drink first gained popularity in the United States as a secret-turned-permanent item on the menu. It was originally made from coconut milk, fruit juice, and real strawberries – an iced handcrafted beverage that cost $7.10 in a tall cup. Six years after its conception, Starbucks announced last July 27 that the famed drink is already available in the coffee chain.
With the launch of the coffee shop’s Refreshers series locally, the Pink Drink with Strawberry Acai and Strawberry Acai with Lemonade are now available for purchase in stores or via delivery platforms. As seen across social media platforms, the famed beverage comes in a fun, bright pink color. It contains real strawberry slices, refreshing sweet flavors of strawberry acai, citrus lemonade, and green coffee extract.
Starbucks Refresher Series: Time to Join the Pink Drink Trend Now!
As part of the Starbucks Refresher Series launching, the coffee chain’s outlet at Vivo City has been temporarily converted into Singapore’s only Pink Concept Store – adorning the space with pink decor, furniture, and backdrops that would inspire you to make creative content for your Instagram and TikTok posts with your Pink Drink. The area will stay decked in pink until the end of August.
To complement your refreshment, the said Starbucks outlet has also launched four new pastries and cakes that are freshly baked in-store. This includes Peanut Butter and Black Sesame Cake, Tomato Twist, Gula Melaka Cake, and Imitation Chili Crab Quiche. A Limited-Edition Reusable Cold Cup is also available for every purchase of Grande-sized Starbucks Refreshers. The Cold Cup – which is priced at $9.9 – is not sold separately and is only available until supplies last. All of these are available in-store and through Starbucks’ delivery partners, like GrabFood, FoodPanda, and Deliveroo.
In case you want to explore other options, Starbucks Singapore has also brought back the Oatmilk Cocoa Frappuccino to its menu starting August 11. Yes, the iconic plant-based drink (a combination of Starbucks’ signature espresso with smooth oat milk and sweet vanilla syrup topped with rick mocha drizzle) can now be enjoyed once again for a limited time only. This favorite drink among many health-conscious individuals costs $7.70 for a tall-sized cup.
Need to quench your thirst? Visit Starbucks now! Enjoy the milk-less version of your favorite drinks for only S$6.60 (tall-sized). At Vivo City, you will not only be satisfied with your refreshments but you’ll also get inspired to create new content for your IG story or TikTok post. So, what are you waiting for?
