BIGHIT Music is Hosting a Global Audition for the Next Boy Band in Singapore
To keep the K-pop scene fresh and evolving, South Korea’s BIGHIT Music has kicked off the 2024 BIGHIT MUSIC GLOBAL AUDITION, aiming to discover new talents worldwide. This series of in-person auditions will span 17 cities, including major hubs like Singapore, Bangkok, Jakarta, Osaka, Seoul, and Taipei, as well as Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi. The search extends beyond Asia, with auditions also set for Hawaii, Los Angeles, Orange County, Vancouver, Toronto, Auckland, Sydney, and Melbourne.
The Singapore audition for BIGHIT Music’s global talent search will be held on July 20 at 11 AM at the Metropolitan YMCA. Aspiring artists can also opt for an online audition from May 2 to August 31. Just visit the BIGHIT Music Audition website, upload a self-portrait and a showcase video of your talent, and make sure the file doesn’t exceed 100MB.
If you’re auditioning for Singing, submit a video or audio clip of your dance, song, or rap, plus a full-body photo. For Acting, include a video demonstrating your acting skills, along with a full body shot and a headshot. Aspiring models should send in a PR video where you introduce yourself, accompanied by a full body shot and a headshot.
BIGHIT Music is part of the South Korean entertainment giant, HYBE, which owns several other subsidiaries—including Source Music, home to Le Sserafim, Belift Lab, managing Illit, and ADOR, the agency behind NewJeans, who’s currently facing a public conflict with HYBE.
