Get yourself ready for a weekend filled with cat-centered activities that you and your little companion will love.
Debuting this month is the most anticipated gathering of cat lovers and feline enthusiasts at the Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Center on July 29–30 for the biggest cat exhibition in Asia. The two-day event is geared towards bringing together all the cat lovers in the region to learn more about their feline companions and engage in activities that help educate about cat care from experts on health, nutrition, behavior, and litter box training.
Asia Cat Expo 2023 is undoubtedly a cat lover’s paradise, where a delightful array of over 60 local and international brands specializing in cat care products will be on display. From Bows.licious, Monsterpet Singapore, and World’s Best Cat Litter, you will discover a treasure trove of topnotch products that will help you better pamper your beloved feline, like the scrumptious treats from Steak & Eggs Please, Rawr Rawr, and Pet Cubes.
Exciting Activities to Do at the Asia Cat Expo
Your little companion is in for a treat-filled extravaganza with the activities prepared at the Asia Cat Expo. Presented by the renowned pet events organizer, Furflr, this extraordinary gathering champions responsible cat ownership and elevates the standards of feline care by blending education with entertainment.
Aside from the exciting booths available in the area, there’s also a cat dress-up and cat-themed cosplay competition held for interested participants—allowing you to wear matching outfits! There is plenty of cat-themed merchandise to bring home as well.
Additionally, the Feline Fanciers Society of Singapore will host a cat breed showcase, offering a splendid opportunity for cat enthusiasts to marvel at a dazzling array of beautiful and rare breeds from around the world.
If you are a cat owner, you can have your cat microchipped for free care by the Animal & Veterinary Services (AVS)—and in case you have concerns about your cats, they will be happy to answer your queries during the “Chat with the Vet”. You can also learn how to properly maintain your cat’s skin and coat at the grooming consultation headed by Nekomori Cat Salon or watch Singapore’s first-ever cat grooming competition for some new hair pegs for your kitty.
Interested participants in the competition may sign up here for only S$150. This program will be facilitated by the international judge and Director of Starwood Arts Dog Grooming School in Thailand, Sathit Suratphiphit.
On top of the cat-themed activities, families can also explore the many activities that both parents and children can do, such as face painting, glitter tattoos, cat toy making, art workshops, and a whole lot more. Most importantly, if you are interested in welcoming a new feline companion into your family, you can also support the adoption drive onsite and give some kittens a new, loving home.
For only S$5, you can already purchase a one-day pass ticket for the Asia Cat Expo. If you want to make the most of the two days, you can also buy the S$8 two-day pass here. Cats are of free entry, while kids under 12 can enjoy complimentary entry with an accompanying adult.
