Get ready for another unnerving and twisted set of events as You Season 4 makes a premier earlier than expected this coming February 2023.
Just in time for Valentine’s Day, Penn Badgley once again will make (or break) your day as the fourth installment of the You series makes a comeback to Netflix this 2023. As announced at Netflix’s TUDUM pop culture event, You Season 4 will be out in two parts – the first debuting on February 9, 2023, and the second on March 9, 2023.
The mega-successful series, based on the books authored by Caroline Kepnes, made an official announcement in time for Thanksgiving that You Season 4 will be out a day earlier than expected (instead of February 10 and March 10)
Season 4 will pick up from the final moments of Season 3 – when Joe (Penn Badgley) finally puts an end to the crazy relationship he had with his wife, Love Quinn (Victoria Pedretti), as he finds his newest prospect, the librarian Marienne Bellamy (Tati Gabrielle). Before the season ended, Joe was spotted moving to London under the name of Professor Jonathan Moore. And there, his preying eyes led him toward the art gallery director, Kate (Charlotte Ritchie).
What to Expect in the Fourth Season of the Psychological Thriller You
By far, not much is known about You Season 4 aside from the fact that it will follow the Stranger Things structure, which is divided into two parts. Nonetheless, based on the previously released teaser, it can be presumed that Joe has successfully built his new character – one that belongs to a group of wealthy socialites.
As Joe puts it: “I’m not the lovable bookstore manager in New York, or the shop clerk in LA, or the doting husband in the suburbs. No, not anymore. Allow me to introduce myself. I’ve gone through a bit of a refinement upon crossing the pond. And living in London has allowed me to bury the past, if you will. Gone are the days of unrequited love and longing. This time around, I’m focusing on academia and instruction, while keeping typical extracurricular activities strictly professional. One must make time to exchange ideas with like-minded colleagues. Unfortunately, with friends in high places, there usually come others attempting to climb that social ladder. Some may end up falling, or shall I say ‘pushed’ to their social death. The question is: by whom?â€
As he takes on a more ‘refined’ character, Penn Badgley works together with Ghosts’ actress, Charlotte Ritchie, alongside Lukas Gage (Adam), Tilly Keeper (Lady Phoebe), Amy Leigh Hickman (Nadia), Ed Speleers (Rhys), Niccy Lin (Sophie), Aidan Cheng (Simon), Stephen Hagan (Malcolm), Ben Wiggins (Roald), Eve Austin (Gemma), Ozioma Whenu (Blessing), Dario Coates (Connie), Sean Pertwee (Vic), Brad Alexander (Edward), Alison Pargeter (Dawn), and Adam James (Elliot). With an estimated number of 10 people killed by the end of Season 3, will Joe Goldberg live up to his new character? Or do old habits die hard? To find out, stay tuned for more updates on You season 4!
