Sharing is caring!

Oppenheimer swept the awards night with eight victories, while The Bear and Beef took the lead in the television categories.

Following its success at the Golden Globes, Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer continued its winning streak at the recent Critics Choice Awards, sharing the spotlight with the fellow summer blockbuster Barbie. The event, hosted by actress-comedian Chelsea Handler for the second year in a row, took place at Barker Hangar at the Santa Monica Airport in Los Angeles.

While Billie Eilish and Finneas’ What Was I Made For? claimed victory at the previous week’s event, co-writers Mark Ronson and Andrew Wyatt secured the Best Song Award for I’m Just Ken from the American-Canadian Critics Choice Association. Notably, the duo had previously penned Shallow from A Star Is Born, which claimed victory five years ago. This has heightened the anticipation for who will emerge victorious at the Oscars.

Here’s the Complete List of Winners for the 2024 Critics Choice Awards

In this age where freedom of expression is greatly practiced, everyone can be a critic. Nevertheless, a designated platform exists for those who engage in professional critique to articulate their discerning evaluations of noteworthy films and television productions: the Critics Choice Awards. Recognized as the largest critics organization in the U.S. and Canada, it is comprised of over 600 media critics and entertainment journalists.

This year, despite earning 12 nominations, Killers of the Flower Moon went home empty-handed while the biopic Oppenheimer won eight awards, including the most coveted Best Picture and Best Director. For TV, The Bear and The Beef brought home four awards each, followed by Succession. Here’s the complete list of winners at the 29th Critics Choice Awards.
