Sharing is caring!

K-pop sensations Irene, Seulgi, Wendy, Joy, and Yeri are coming back to Singapore!

In case you missed it, Red Velvet just announced that they will be bringing their upcoming ‘R to V’ concert not only in Asia but around Europe! You’ve read it right, the power Korean girl group is set to perform in Germany, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, and, of course, around Asia, including Singapore.

Red Velvet will kick off the Asia leg of their world tour in Singapore on April 21. After this, they will be holding two shows in Yokohama, Japan, in the first week of May. The group will then head to the Philippines, Thailand, and Indonesia to complete the Asia leg before proceeding with the Europe leg of the tour.

Everything You Need to Know About Red Velvet’s World Tour

After over three years, Red Velvet finally takes off on a world tour right after their successful two-night concert at the legendary KSPO Dome on the first and second days of April. The K-pop group is scheduled to travel to around ten cities across the world, with 13 concerts in total.

Red Velvet’s concert in Singapore marks the group’s second performance in Singapore. It can be remembered that they first had their concert in the island city-state in 2018 as part of their REDMARE World Tour, which was held at The Star Theater and was organized by ONE Production.

The girl group, formed and managed by SM Entertainment, debuted in 2014 with members Irene, Seulgi, Wendy, Joy, and Yeri. Since then, they have earned the attention of fans worldwide with their viral hit songs, including Ice Cream Cake, Red Flavor, Bad Boy, Psycho, and Russian Roulette.

The tour dates for Red Velvet’s ‘R to V’ World Tour are as follows:

  • April 1 and 2 – Seoul, South Korea (KSPO Dome)
  • April 21 – Singapore
  • May 3 and 4 – Yokohama, Japan (Pia Arena MM)
  • May 7 – Manila, Philippines
  • May 13 and 14 – Bangkok, Thailand
  • May 20 – Jakarta, Indonesia
  • May 24 – Paris, France
  • May 27 – Berlin, Germany
  • May 30 – Amsterdam, Netherlands
  • June 1 – Barcelona, Spain (Parc del Forum)
  • June 6 – London, United Kingdom
  • June 8 – Madrid, Spain (Ciudad del Rock)

The general sale of tickets for Red Velvet’s concert in Singapore began on April 1. For ticket bookings and other tour details, see the official site here.

Most Recent Red Velvet Updates

Last year, Red Velvet became a part of Spotify’s Top 10 K-pop Artists Globally. The quintet also took home the Best Female Performance Award at the 2022 Genie Music Awards.

The girl group sold a million copies of their latest mini album, The ReVe Festival 2022—Birthday, which was released in November 2022. This came out along with a music video for the lead single, Birthday. By far, Red Velvet’s discography includes two studio albums, one reissue album, one compilation album, and ten extended plays.

Apart from preparing for their world tour, the girls have been busy with their individual career paths as well. Just last year, Seulgi released her solo debut with her first-ever mini-album, 28 Reasons. This is after Wendy debuted as a soloist in 2021 with her EP Like Water, which was followed by Joy’s EP titled  Hello of the same year.
