‘Bad B––es Have Bad Days Too’: Megan Thee Stallion Launches Mental Health Focused Website

Sharing is caring!

“Hotties! You know how much mental wellness means to me so I created a hub with resources that can help you when you might need a hand,” tweeted the American rapper.

Bad days do happen to everyone. That’s why the Grammy multi-awarded artist, Megan Thee Stallion, launched the BadBitchesHaveBadDaysToo.com website – taken from the lyrics of her song – to provide help to those who need mental health resources when they are going through something.

Speaking out of the experience, Megan has always been open about her mental health journey. Going through several tragedies––from the death of her mother in 2019 because of brain cancer to losing her grandmother shortly after her mother’s death, and the death of her father as a teenager––drove her to seek therapy. Seeing how therapy is receiving a bad light in mainstream media, the American rapper wants to use her platform to discuss what is deemed as a sensitive topic and shed some light that what the best “hot girl shit” one can actually do is to take good care of her mental health.

About BadBitchesHaveBadDaysToo.com

Upon access to the site, fans are reminded that they have to “bounce back like bad bitches always do.” The recently unveiled platform is divided into four categories of resources: (1) free therapy organizations, (2) mental health hotlines, (3) resource directories, and (4) LGBTQIA community resources. Each category offers a wide array of resources presented in the menu and links to useful mental health websites, BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) communities, as well as organizations that offer free therapy.

Seeking to help everyone, regardless of race, color, and orientation, Megan wants to make a meaningful impact in the lives of those who may not have access to resources and support services. “My family raised me to help others and give back. So, I’m incredibly proud to be in a position to accomplish that goal.”

Last year, Megan shared with her fans how instrumental therapy has greatly helped her overcome the challenges that happened in her life. Last February, she started a nonprofit – Pete and Thomas Foundation – that aims to assist those who are suffering from mental health and struggling with education, housing, and other health services in Houston, TX, and across the globe.

BadbBitchesHaveBadDaysToo.com is now live. If you are going through something today or you know someone who does, don’t hesitate to check or refer to the website. To be able to help yourself, you have to recognize and acknowledge what you are struggling with. As Megan The Stallion’s hit Anxiety song puts it: “They keep sayin’ I should get help but I don’t even know what I need.”
