Sharing is caring!

The multi-awarded singer-songwriter crushed 2024 with over 26.6 billion streams, powered by the massive success of her latest album, The Tortured Poets Department.

What songs were on repeat for you this year? Which album became your ultimate go-to soundtrack? Well, it’s that time again—Spotify Wrapped is here to reveal your music habits and trends in 2024. This annual favorite offers a deep dive into your listening patterns and an interactive breakdown of what defined your year in music.

For the second year, Taylor Swift has claimed the title of Spotify’s most-streamed artist globally. Her music amassed over 26.6 billion streams in 2024 alone, cementing her as a streaming powerhouse. Following her on the global stage are The Weeknd, Bad Bunny, Drake, and Billie Eilish, rounding out this year’s top five artists.

Check Out the 2024 Spotify Wrapped Global Top List

Taylor Swift continues to dominate the music scene, and 2024 was no exception. Her album The Tortured Poets Department, released in April, made history by becoming the first album to ever top 300 million streams in just one day and hit over 1 billion streams in its first week. This incredible achievement solidified her place as one of the biggest artists of the year of this generation.

Not only did The Tortured Poets Department break records, but Taylor also made history in another way: she became the first female artist to win consecutive Top Streamed Artist awards. While she didn’t top the monthly charts this year, her overall consistency put her ahead of the pack. Taylor now joins Ed Sheeran with two wins in this category. However, Drake and Bad Bunny still reign with three wins each.

Now, this year, a lot of female artists shone brightly, with Sabrina Carpenter also leading the most-streamed song with her smash hit, Espresso. Apart from amassing a total of 1.6 billion streams globally for that viral song, her album Short n’ Sweet also made it to the third spot on the list of most-streamed albums of 2024. This marks a huge milestone for Sabrina, proving that she’s one of the top names in the music industry right now.
