Gear up influencers and IG citizens. The pioneer selfie museum has now landed in Singapore, and it has—guess what—a special space dedicated to Billie Eilish!

The renowned Selfie Museum 29Rooms has finally made its way here in Singapore! The celebrated museum, which has collaborated with artists Lizzo, Margot Robbie, Emma Roberts, and Jake Gyllenhaal, is currently in Singapore—its first event ever outside of North America!

Now, you can level up your Instagram posts and stories—and experience firsthand the themed rooms of the Selfie Museum. Nope, this is not your regular selfie corner. Each room offers varied activities that will absolutely entertain your thoughts and tickle your emotions with prompts that will encourage you to answer the many questions that you have been evading for so long.

Planning to Visit the Selfie Museum 29Rooms in Singapore? Here’s What You Need to Know

Perfect for the creative and imaginative in spirit, 29Rooms began in New York in 2015 as a digital publishing platform of Refinery29 and its parent company, Vice Media. With the beautiful responses of the visitors and audience, the event was then hosted in other cities around North America, including Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Chicago, to name a few.

True to its name, the Selfie Museum features 29 rooms that can serve as a creative playground for the new generation with their theme, setup, and overall feel. Making it even more experiential for visitors, the interactive museum made major collaborations with notable celebrities like Lizzo, Margot Robbie, Solange Knowles, RuPaul, Jason Wu, Janelle Monae, Jake Gyllenhaal, and for this edition in Singapore, Billie Eilish. Participating artists are not only involved in the namesake but also help design the room of their own, allowing them to make their fans get closer to them.

For the Selfie Museum 29Rooms in Singapore, creators have collaborated with local and international artists and artistic creators to weave along the theme of Lost and Found. Through the collaborative effort of the geniuses of their fields, visitors can now enjoy the 29 spaces to pause, laugh, think through, and appreciate the beautiful installations made.

The Selfie Museum in Singapore covers a total area of 4,500 square meters. Aside from providing a wonderful experience to visitors with all its motifs, lights, sound, and smell, another interesting thing to do is indulge in the food and beverage options that some rooms offer. In fact, there are specific rooms that allow you to feel the texture and embrace the overall ambiance of the room.

As the name suggests, visitors need to find their way through the Lost and Found Forest, a mystical place that comes with exotic smells and thought-provoking questions about life. Journeying through the rooms, the inner child within gets a chance to explore and experience once again the joy that is exploration—from the room that is themed from Dora’s Diary to tech rooms until finally reaching the Grammy award-winning singer’s room, which is dedicated to her perfume.

Expect to experience the mesmerizing scent and involve all your senses through the encompassing sounds and sights accompanied by a soundtrack of Eilish’s voice. Fans can also get a chance to take samples and purchase the perfume onsite.

Another interesting feature is the Insomnia Room, which is made of mattresses; the All-White Living Room, where you’ll totally get some slaps of paint around in; and the Toilet-focused Room, which pays tribute to the comfort found inside the premise of the sacred space.
