Sharing is caring!

In just three hours, the concert film’s presale surpassed Spider-Man: No Way Home‘s record-breaking theatrical release.

Yes, Swifties. The Eras Tour concert is coming to the big screen. After shattering records around the world with her live performances, Taylor Swift is now sharing an intimate documentary that delves into everything that transpired during this extraordinary journey, giving fans an up-close and personal glimpse into the magic of her iconic tour.

Starting October 13, Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour will be available in cinemas in North America, as announced by the Grammy-winning singer-songwriter on her social media account. This announcement triggered an immediate surge in pre-sale ticket purchases, surpassing a staggering $35 million within the first 24 hours. This incredible feat shattered the previous single-day record held by Spider-Man: No Way Home, which stood at $16.9 million.

Are You Ready for ‘The Eras Tour’ Concert Film? Here’s What We Know So Far

With the recent Hollywood strike affecting both actors and writers, Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour film is seen as a significant contribution to filling the gap in the movie industry. As reported, production companies have been forced to delay the release of highly anticipated films due to ongoing labor disputes.

As per the Cruel Summer singer: “The Eras Tour has been the most meaningful, electric experience of my life so far, and I’m overjoyed to tell you that it’ll be coming to the big screen soon. Eras attire, friendship bracelets, singing, and dancing encouraged.”

In response to the overwhelming demand, AMC, the theater chain, has announced that The Eras Tour film will be screened at least four times daily in all of its U.S. theaters. Nevertheless, ticket prices are expected to be slightly higher than the standard movie fare, with adult tickets priced at $19.89 (perhaps a nod to Taylor’s album) and child tickets at $13.13 (yeah, IKYK).

In her most recent update, the 33-year-old music sensation concluded the North American segment of her global tour with four spectacular shows in Mexico. Following this, she is set to take the stage in Argentina in November, and her tour calendar remains booked with scheduled performances extending until the close of 2024—that’s a total of 146 stadium dates.

Are you excited for Taylor Swift’s upcoming tour in Singapore from March 2 to 9? If you missed out on getting tickets, here’s some good news: you’ll soon have the opportunity to relish The Eras Tour experience. Keep a close watch for the forthcoming announcement about the release of the concert film in Asia. Stay tuned for more details, and get ready to be captivated by the cinematic version of this unforgettable tour.
