Star Awards 2025 lit up The Theatre at Mediacorp with major wins, big moments, and all the glitz we love.
This year’s Star Awards took a thrilling turn as crime dramas Kill Sera Sera and Unforgivable dominated the night with multiple big wins. The 30th edition of the annual show, held at The Theatre at Mediacorp, celebrated the best of local Mandarin TV programming from 2024, and this time, mystery thrillers were clearly the crowd and critic favorites.
Leading the night was none other than veteran actor Christopher Lee, who walked away with not one, but three major awards. He snagged Best Actor for his powerful role in Kill Sera Sera, Best Programme Host for Dishing With Chris Lee Season 2, and also received a Special Achievement Award—making him the biggest winner of the night. He also shared in the win for Best Entertainment Programme, thanks to his food-and-chat series.
Hong Kong actress Jessica Hsuan, his co-star, won Best Actress for Kill Sera Sera. Meanwhile, the intense and emotionally charged Unforgivable took Best Drama Serial. This gripping crime series also earned Chen Hanwei the Best Supporting Actor award. For her role in Hope Afloat, Cynthia Koh clinched Best Supporting Actress.

Co-hosted by Guo Liang and Chantalle Ng, the awards night was held with extra star power, with appearances by Hong Kong legends Chow Yun Fat and Sean Lau, as well as Singapore’s very own Kit Chan. The Walk of Fame red carpet kicked off the glam evening before the live show was broadcast across Channel 8, Channel U, MeWatch, and YouTube.
