November 15, 2024

Sharing is caring!

Get ready for an exciting, new adventure with Snoopy, Charlie Brown, and the whole Peanuts gang!

Adventure—the word itself already sparks excitement, right? How much more if you could explore uncharted territories, discover hidden gems, and experience the thrill of the unknown? Definitely, worth pursuing!

Well, if you are still undecided on what to do and where to go this weekend or over the holiday season, maybe you can consider going out on an adventure with your favorite Peanuts cast at Mandai Wildlife Reserve. Wait, you mean Snoopy, Charlie Brown, Linus, and Lucy? Uh-huh.

Here’s Everything You Need to Know About Mandai Wildlife Reserve’s Festive Wild-erland

You’ve read it right, the world’s most famous beagle joins the fun and adventure at Mandai Wildlife Reserve starting this month of November until January 5, 2025—that’s two whole months of Snoopy-themed fun, celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Snoopy Beagle Scouts, which debuted in the Peanuts comic strip in June 1974.

Apart from Snoopy, other members of the Beagle Scouts will also be there, including his best friend, Woodstock, and eight bird friends, including Raymond, Roy, Olivier, Conrad, Bill, Fred, Harriet, and Wilson—characters that were created by Charles M. Schulz in the beloved comic strip.

What to Expect at the Mandai Wildlife Reserve’s Festive Wild-erland

The Festive Wild-erland event has something for everyone. Whether you’re a budding wildlife enthusiast or a Peanuts superfan, there are plenty of things to do and places to explore. Here’s a rundown of the highlights:

  1. Snoopy Beagle Scouts Mission Booklet

Kids 12 and under can pick up a Snoopy Beagle Scouts Mission Booklet near the entrance at Treetops Trail in Singapore Zoo or at Bird Paradise. Guided by a fun map, little Beagle Scouts can embark on a trail with four different checkpoints in each park. Along the way, they’ll encounter amazing animals like orangutans, giraffes, and penguins up close.

For those who want to deepen their connection with wildlife, Mandai Wildlife Reserve offers hands-on activities to learn more about animal care at the Singapore Zoo, as well as fascinating bird insights at Bird Paradise.

  1. Photo Opportunities and Keepsakes

You’ll find photo spots scattered throughout the reserve, perfect for capturing memories with Snoopy and his friends. One of the biggest highlights is the giant inflatable Snoopy lounging on his iconic doghouse—perfect for a group picture. Complete the mission trail to earn an exclusive Mandai Wildlife Reserve x Snoopy Scout badge, the perfect keepsake to remind you of your adventure.

  1. Glamping in the Wild: Snoopy Edition

If a day isn’t enough to soak up all the Snoopy fun, you can also try the Glamping in the Wild: Snoopy Edition experience! For $1,699 per tent, you’ll get a night in a comfortable dome tent under the stars, along with a special breakfast where you can meet animal ambassadors like the Bengal Eagle Owl. It’s an unforgettable way to end the day and wake up to even more wildlife experience.

  1. Ongoing Holiday Activities

And the fun doesn’t stop with the Snoopy adventure trail. Throughout the holiday season, there are ongoing activities for all ages, such as ARt Alive at the Ocean Network Express Penguin Cove, a creative Make-Your-Own-Comic-Strip station at Singapore Zoo, and a crafting workshop at Bird Paradise where you can make enrichment devices to keep the birds engaged. There’s also the Wild-erful Christmas Market and Meet-and-Greet sessions with Charlie Brown, Lucy, and Snoopy.

  1. Exclusive Mandai x Snoopy Merchandise

Of course, a trip this fun wouldn’t be complete without bringing something back home. Don’t forget to check out Mandai’s exclusive Snoopy merchandise. From plushies to apparel and drinkware starting at $19, these items are great souvenirs for you or gifts for friends and family who couldn’t join in on the fun.

With so many unique activities and limited-time experiences, there’s no room for boredom at Festive Wild-erland. Whether it’s exploring wildlife with Snoopy or spending the night in a glamping tent, you’ll find the perfect balance of fun and discovery. This Snoopy Beagle Scouts adventure at Mandai Wildlife Reserve runs until January 5, 2025, so don’t forget to mark your calendar and get ready for an adventure you won’t forget!
