Sharing is caring!

The pop-up store is open for just two weeks, from March 18 to April 7.

There’s something about apple pies that captivates the senses. The sweet aroma, the flaky crust—it’s a timeless delight that brings joy to people everywhere, including Singaporeans. With each bite, the perfect balance of tartness and sweetness dances on the palate, leaving a lingering satisfaction. It’s no wonder apple pie has become one of the favorite treats that transcend cultures and borders.

Well, if you’re craving irresistible apple pie goodness, you’re in for a treat. South Korea’s famous apple pie bakery is opening a pop-up in Bugis, offering its renowned pastries and a selection of its delectable apple pies straight from Korea!

Sagwadang Apple Pies are Now in Bugis Junction

Yes, Korea’s beloved apple pie bakery from Yesan, dubbed the “Apple City of South Korea,” is making its first international appearance in Singapore, in Bugis Junction. Known for its crispy, semi-circular apple pies, Singaporeans can now indulge in these iconic treats without traveling far.

Named after “sagwa,” which means apple, this specialty bakery crafts delectable apple pies using premium apples from Yesan and butter from New Zealand. The pop-up in Bugis Junction, running until April 7, features the store’s top three bestsellers: the Original Apple Pie ($4.90), Vanilla ($5.40), and Milk Cream ($5.40).

The Original Apple Pie features a fragrant, buttery crust with a subtly sweet filling of apple chunks and spices, creating a perfect blend of flavors. If you’re craving something indulgent, try the Vanilla Apple Pie, with its creamy vanilla filling that melts in your mouth. For a lighter option, go for the fresh Milk Cream pie, with its whipped cream-like texture and refreshing taste, offering a delightful alternative to the vanilla apple pie.

Now, if you want to try them all, no worries! You can mix and match the pies to create your own 6-piece box for sharing—or just for yourself if you’re really craving those delectable treats. No judgment here!

Open from 11 am to 9 pm until April 7, you can now enjoy a taste of South Korea’s bestselling Sagwadang apple pies. It can be found at Bugis Junction, 200 Victoria Street, Level 1, situated just in front of the Liverpool FC Store.
