Bringing together the singular expertise of two iconic German companies in an ultra-premium collaboration, RIMOWA released the RIMOWA x Porsche Hand-Carry Case Pepita – a special edition carrycase that pays homage to the iconic design elements of the two brands.

Crafted in Cologne, Germany, the RIMOWA x Porsche Hand-Carry Case Pepita is fashioned from RIMOWA’s signature grooved aluminum and takes design inspiration from the first generation of the Porsche 911. With its highly functional wheel-free design, it can easily be stowed in the boot of a Porsche car on weekend jaunts. It also has TSA-approved locks and a gleaming aluminum handle.
The ultimate muse of RIMOWA’s aluminum hand-carry case is the first-generation Porsche 911 – which was first showcased in 1963 as the “Porsche 901”, by far one of the most successful models in road car sales. The said car has also become a legend in motorsport, with a remarkable record on the track, as well as in rallies.
RIMOWA x Porsche Hand-Carry Case Pepita is accented with high-gloss details that nod to the silver mirror finishing of a first-generation Porsche 911. It is featured with black leather straps attached by polished crest-shaped holders that echo traditional hood straps and an authentic Porsche crest sitting proudly on the case’s front.
Inside, RIMOWA x Porsche Hand-Carry Case Pepita boasts a zipped U-pocket and an X-strap that resembles a seatbelt. This keeps the belongings secure while traveling. Completing the 911-inspired aesthetics of the suitcase are the houndstooth Pepita fabric, black leather accents, imprinted Porsche crest, and yellow instructional label that is similar to the one found in the trunk of a Porsche 911.
As a limited edition, this special collaboration that celebrates the unparalleled quality of German designs is available in extremely limited quantities – with only 911 numbered pieces of RIMOWA x Porsche Hand-Carry Case Pepita produced.
