Singapore is Hosting Pokémon GO City Safari—Gotta Catch ‘Em All This March 29-30!

March 27, 2025

March 27, 2025

Sharing is caring!

Trainers, get your poké balls ready.

What are your plans at the end of the month? If you’re a Pokémon fan, the answer is obvious—you’ve already got March 29 and 30 marked on your calendar. And why wouldn’t you? Pokémon GO City Safari is coming to Singapore, bringing an adventure-packed event that no trainer should miss!

One of the biggest highlights? The debut of Mudbray, the Donkey Pokémon! For the first time ever, this little powerhouse will be available in Pokémon GO—but only in Singapore during the event. So, if you want to add this rare Pokémon to your collection, you’d better be ready to hit the streets!

Here’s Why Pokémon GO City Safari is the Ultimate Event for Trainers in Singapore

Pokémon GO has always been about adventure, exploration, and connecting with fellow trainers. Now, Singapore is turning into the ultimate Safari Zone, giving players a chance to embark on special in-game missions, capture rare Pokémon, and experience the city like never before.

Tickets for the event are available online or through the Pokémon GO app. Those who participate will be able to team up with an Eevee wearing an explorer hat as they navigate themed areas across Singapore. Expect to hunt for elusive Pokémon in hotspots like Sentosa, Pasir Ris, Ang Mo Kio, Jurong East, Sembawang, and Marina Bay.

For just $19 (one-day pass) or $34 (two-day pass), you can embark on a citywide Pokémon journey, discover hidden gems in Singapore, and make new friends along the way. Want even more perks? Add an extra $15 for bonus in-game items and rewards!

What to Expect During the Pokémon GO City Safari Event

From 10 AM to 6 PM, ticket-holding trainers can assist Professor Willow and Eevee in researching the Pokémon appearing during the event. And here’s the best part—Eevee wearing an explorer hat can evolve into any of its evolutions! That means you could walk away with a Vaporeon, Jolteon, Flareon, Espeon, Umbreon, Leafeon, Glaceon, or Sylveon—all sporting the exclusive explorer hat. Ah, such a cutie!

But that’s not all! A Pokémon GO pop-up store will be set up at HarbourFront Centre Outdoor Plaza, where fans like you can score a Pikachu sunvisor (while supplies last) and shop for exclusive Pokémon merch.

Pokémon GO City Safari is the latest in a series of global events that have already taken place in France, Sweden, Germany, Brazil, Denmark, Spain, Japan, and Taiwan. These special events allow trainers to catch Pokémon that don’t usually appear in certain regions, along with exclusive in-game bonuses.

Singapore previously hosted Safari Zones in 2019 and 2022, drawing over 18,000 players to Gardens by the Bay. This year’s City Safari promises to be even bigger and better!

Discover Singapore with Pokémon GO Official Routes

In collaboration with the National Heritage Board (NHB), Pokémon GO is launching official routes in Singapore. These curated paths help players explore Singapore’s rich history, hidden stories, and cultural gems while hunting for Pokémon.

The official routes include:

  • Little India (Tekka): Experience the vibrant culture of one of Singapore’s most iconic districts.
  • Pasir Ris: Stroll along Singapore’s beautiful coastline.
  • Tiong Bahru: Wander through charming 1930s Art Deco architecture.
  • Sembawang: Discover Singapore’s rural past.
  • Orchard Road: Uncover the history behind this bustling shopping district beyond its modern malls.

Best of all? These routes will remain available even after the City Safari event ends, so trainers can continue their Pokémon adventure long after March 30!

Excited? Who’s not? If you’re a Pokémon trainer—or just looking for a fun way to explore Singapore over the weekend—this event is definitely not to be missed. Grab your tickets, charge your phone, and get ready for an epic Pokémon hunt.

See you out there, trainers! Let’s can ‘em all.
