The iconic French patisserie is opening a two-story boutique at Resorts World Sentosa this year.
When it comes to desserts, one country effortlessly takes the crown—France. From delicate macarons and buttery mille-feuille to luscious crème brûlée and soft and fluffy profiteroles, French pâtisserie is definitely the pinnacle of indulgence. But for those who dream of savoring these confections without a flight to Paris, here’s good news: Pierre Hermé is finally opening its store here in Singapore!
Yes, you read that right. The renowned pastry chef, dubbed the ‘Picasso of Pastry,’ is bringing his world-renowned creations to Resorts World Sentosa in 2025. This two-story boutique will mark Pierre Hermé’s flagship presence in Singapore, promising a decadent escape into the artistry of French desserts.
Here’s What We Know So Far About the Opening of Pierre Hermé in Singapore
Singapore’s patisserie lovers can look forward to experiencing Pierre Hermé’s signature masterpieces, including the famous Ispahan—a dreamy blend of rose, lychee, and raspberry—and the indulgent Macaron Mogador, where silky milk chocolate meets the tang of passion fruit.
But that’s not all. The boutique will also feature an ice cream bar offering 15 exquisite flavors of ice cream and sorbet, alongside an array of buttery brioche and expertly crafted artisanal coffee. Definitely a haven for sweet tooths, this opening is set to elevate dessert culture in Singapore.
The boutique will be nestled within Weave, the new lifestyle hub at Resorts World Sentosa, a fitting location for Pierre Hermé’s first flagship store in Singapore. In a statement, the celebrated pastry chef expressed: “Singapore is a leading gastronomic destination. We have chosen Weave at Resorts World Sentosa to make our Singapore debut with our flagship Maison as it is part of our desire to offer enthusiasts a unique experience where audacity and savoir-faire take on an incredible dimension.”
With locations in France, the United Kingdom, Japan, Doha, Hong Kong, Monaco, and Taiwan, Pierre Hermé’s arrival in Singapore further establishes the Lion City’s status as a global culinary hotspot. The French pastry chef, who was crowned World’s Best Pastry Chef at the 2016 World’s 50 Best Restaurants awards, has long been revered for his mastery in reinventing French pâtisserie. Since launching Maison Pierre Hermé in 1998, his creations have captivated dessert lovers worldwide, blending tradition with innovation in every bite.
While the official opening date of Pierre Hermé remains under wraps, anticipation is already building. Singapore’s dessert lovers will soon have a new place to indulge—whether it’s a perfectly crisp macaron, a silky-smooth scoop of sorbet, or an exquisitely brewed cup of coffee to round off the experience. Truly, the year 2025 is getting a whole lot sweeter!
