Time to savor Singapore cult favorites: Nonette banh mi, beef pho, kaya donuts, and the iconic chilli oil chantilly donut.
There’s a reason this Singapore-born sandwich shop has been making waves in Paris. Nonette doesn’t just deliver the authentic taste of Asia. It gives beloved Asian flavors a cheeky, modern twist that makes you want to come back again, and again, and again.
So, if you’re in that all-too-familiar “I don’t know what I feel like eating” mood—or your friends can’t agree on what and where to eat (again)—here’s your sign: head to Nonette’s pop-up at RASA Space in Republic Plaza, Raffles Place. They’re here until October 4, serving up their iconic banh mi and one-of-a-kind Asian-style donuts.
From Paris to Singapore: A Tasty Full Circle
Joining the creative, nightlife-meets-daytime vibes of RASA Space, Nonette is bringing home its signature flavors with the same Parisian flair that made it a cult favorite abroad. Founded in 2021 by Singaporean Pearlyn Lee, the shop quickly gained a loyal following in the French capital. Its elevated take on the Vietnamese-French banh mi attracted not only Europeans but also caught the attention of celebrities too, including France-based Singaporean actress Sharon Au and even the cast of Emily in Paris.
If you’ve ever dreamed of enjoying a banh mi but in true fashion, Paris style, this is your chance without booking a flight!
This is not the first time Nonette has served its signature menu in Singapore. In 2022, they collaborated with Tiong Bahru Bakery for a one-weekend pop-up and sold 100 banh mi in just one hour. Now, they’re back with a rotating menu of sandwiches and desserts that’ll make your food adventures in the CBD way more exciting.
The star of the show is the Banh Mi Parisien, a French-Vietnamese masterpiece. You can try the Jambon Beurre Banh Mi, which is stacked with three types of charcuterie, silky house-made pâté, and rich French butter. Then there’s the Vietnamese Fried Chicken Banh Mi. It features crispy, juicy chicken with Southeast Asian spices and a punchy sriracha mayonnaise. Every bite is layered with pickled vegetables and fresh herbs. It’s all served in that signature golden-brown toasted baguette, because texture is everything.
All the charcuterie, pâtés, pickles, and sauces are made in-house, so you know every mouthful is as fresh as it is flavorful.
Donuts, Eclairs & The Perfect Parisian Pairing
Got room for dessert? Trust us, you do. Nonette’s pastry game is just as strong as its sandwiches. Their Asian-inspired French desserts are a must-try. They range from the nostalgic Kaya Donut to the daring Chilli Oil Chantilly Donut. In this one, fluffy dough meets a spicy-sweet cream filling. It’s a total flavor bomb.
There’s also a lineup of elegant, bite-sized patisseries. You can find the nutty Black Sesame Éclair and the silky Chocolate Tart. There’s also the creative Tau Suan Éclair, which is inspired by the classic local mung bean dessert.
To wash it all down, the pop-up serves Pétillant Naturel natural sparkling wines. They are perfect for a midweek treat or a weekend indulgence. For the ultimate Nonette sampler, go for the Apero Box. This value-packed set includes one banh mi, one donut, and two eclairs. It’s ideal for sharing—or not (no judgment).
In France, “apero” is short for apéritif. It’s a beloved tradition of gathering before dinner with light snacks and drinks. In Singapore, it’s the perfect excuse to sneak in a Paris-meets-Asia feast after work. Already imagining that first crunchy, juicy bite? Same. Nonette’s pop-up is here only until October 4. You don’t need to make a reservation.
So, grab your coworkers, your friends, or just your appetite. Savor a little slice of Paris from Nonette Singapore in the heart of the CBD, one banh mi (and donut) at a time.
