The 82nd Golden Globe Awards brought the drama, laughs, and iconic wins—Shōgun snagged Best TV Drama, Baby Reindeer took home Best Limited Series, and Wicked owned the Cinematic and Box-Office Achievement. Check out the full list of this year’s big winners.

Awards season has officially kicked off, and the Golden Globes is here to remind us why we love movies and TV so much. Dubbed “Hollywood’s Party of the Year,” this year’s ceremony was hosted by comedian Nikki Glaser, marking the first time a woman solo-hosted the event. And she didn’t disappoint!

Nikki came out swinging with a sharp, hilarious opening monologue, cracking jokes about everything from the 2024 presidential election to the #MeToo movement, all while keeping the vibe fun and refreshing. Let’s just say many considered that she brought back the Globes’ spark.

Golden Globes 2025: Here’s the Full List of this Year’s Big Winners

Held at the iconic Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles, the event was broadcast live on CBS and streamed on Paramount+. Leading the pack this year was Emilia Pérez—a crime-thriller musical featuring Karla Sofía Gascón, Zoe Saldaña, and Selena Gomez—which scored a jaw-dropping 10 nominations. The film took home Best Motion Picture—Musical or Comedy, much to the delight of fans. On the drama side, Brutalist swept the night, winning Best Film—Drama, along with accolades for Best Male Actor in a Film and Best Director.

The night’s spotlight also shone brightly on Shōgun. This groundbreaking Japanese-language series, already a mega-hit after dominating the 76th Emmy Awards with 18 wins last year, continued its streak with four major Golden Globe wins. It snagged Best Television Series—Drama and acting awards for its stars Anna Sawai, Hiroyuki Sanada, and Tadanobu Asano.
