Sharing is caring!

Surf’s up, ‘ohana! Get ready to ride the wave of fun with this year’s giant slides, kinetic sand, and all the mischief you can handle!

Still grooving to Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride or He Mele No Lilo on your playlist? Whether you’re a grown-up who remembers racing to the TV for new episodes of Lilo & Stitch or a parent excited to share a bit of Disney magic with your little ones, something big is landing in Singapore—and it’s got all the tropical vibes and alien mischief you can handle.

From May 24 to June 15, Gardens by the Bay is hosting the Lilo & Stitch Children’s Festival 2025, a total Stitch takeover for its annual Children’s Festival. It’s shaping up to be the ultimate summer hangout for kids and kids at heart. Celebrating its 11th edition, this year’s festival brings Asia-Pacific’s first-ever Lilo & Stitch-themed outdoor experience to life. And it’s every bit as fun as it sounds.

Here’s Everything You Need to Know About the Lilo & Stitch Children’s Festival Happening at Gardens by the Bay

Reimagining the adventures of Lilo & Stitch, the iconic Supertree Grove will be transformed into a playful paradise inspired by the beloved Disney movie: a sunny, colorful escape filled with oversized play zones, immersive installations, and larger-than-life fun.

Lilo & Stitch Children’s Festival 2025

The main attraction stealing the spotlight is The Great ’Ohana Wave. It’s a nearly seven-meter-tall slide built for little thrill-seekers aged six to twelve. This epic slide channels the carefree stoke of Hawaiian surfing. Kids can ride the slope with helmets on and inner tubes in tow. It’s like the best parts of a beach day combined into one thrilling city adventure. And it’s right in the heart of the Gardens.

But the excitement doesn’t stop at the wave. There’s also the Forest of Belonging, a magical inflatable playscape inspired by the deeper themes of the film. This whimsical, maze-like forest invites children to explore hidden messages and uncover the meaning of ‘ohana’—a Hawaiian word that means family. Just like Stitch’s journey to finding his place in the world, this part of the festival encourages reflection, discovery, and the joy of belonging. With soft surfaces and vibrant greenery, it’s an experience that’s as heartwarming as it is fun.

Space Adventure and Mischief Makers

Of course, Stitch’s space roots aren’t forgotten. The Space Adventure zone brings a blast of cosmic energy, letting kids hop into swing cars to navigate a galactic mission. They’ll race around to activate glowing beacons, lighting up the space with teamwork and determination. It’s fast-paced, full of color, and a total vibe for kids who love sci-fi flair.

Feeling a little more hands-on? Head to Stitch’s Mischief Makers, where kinetic sand becomes your new best friend. This beach-themed play area is perfect for kids who love to get creative. Whether it’s building castles or crafting creatures, the sand zone taps into the mischievous energy of Stitch himself. It’s messy in the best way—and a great chance for sensory play and imagination to run wild.

Beyond the big attractions, there’s even more to keep the fun going. Every child who visits can grab a free activity trail booklet that leads them through the festival zones. Complete the adventure and trade in your filled-out booklet for a special Stitch-themed sticker sheet (while supplies last, of course). It’s a cute and collectible memento of a day packed with laughter and play.

And yes, Stitch is actually showing up in person. Fans of the blue alien can catch a special meet-and-greet on June 7 and 8, perfect for that Instagrammable moment or an unforgettable hug from everyone’s favorite mischief-maker. Don’t be shy. He’s camera-ready and full of charm.

As May Yeo, Assistant Chief Executive of Gardens by the Bay, puts it: “Through play at the thoughtfully curated installations, we hope that kids will receive a deeper appreciation of the true value of friendship and family, and the confidence to be who they truly are, just like in the story.”

Evening Light Show and Educational Programs

The playground zones are open daily until 7:00 PM, but you’ll want to stick around for the evening lights. At 7:45 PM and again at 8:45 PM, Gardens by the Bay will debut a special Lilo & Stitch-inspired edition of its famous Garden Rhapsody light show, titled The Way To ’Ohana. The glowing Supertrees will dance in sync with iconic songs from the 2002 movie soundtrack, setting the perfect sunset mood. It’s nostalgic, heartwarming, and absolutely magical under the stars.

For something a little educational (but still fun), there’s Plants On The Move!, a 35-minute kids’ program happening on May 31 and June 14. A Hawaii-born plant researcher from Gardens by the Bay will guide the children. They will learn about plants that early settlers brought from Southeast Asia to the central Pacific Islands. It’s storytelling, nature, and cultural discovery all wrapped into one free activity. This program is perfect for curious minds.

So, have you watched the new live-action Lilo & Stitch yet? Whether you’re reliving the movie’s magic or introducing your kids to the aloha spirit for the first time, this Children’s Festival is not one to miss. Grab your shades, round up your ‘ohana, and make your way to Gardens by the Bay. Don’t miss the Lilo & Stitch Children’s Festival 2025 at Gardens by the Bay, where family fun, adventure, and the spirit of ‘ohana come together like never before. Stitch and the island fun are waiting!
