Missing the Bangtan Boys? Who isn’t? Well, here’s some exciting news for all of you, ARMY: Disney+ is releasing a travel series starring our beloved Jimin and Jungkook.
While the dynamic duo, along with RM, Suga, J-Hope, and V, are currently serving in the military, they made sure to leave something special for their fans before enlisting. The series is set to premiere on August 8, as announced by BIGHIT Music and HYBE.
Here’s What You Need to Know About Jimin and Jungkook’s Travel Series
In the teaser photo posted by Disney+, the two boys are captured with all smiles while riding a canoe. Airing next month, the travel show will be divided into eight parts and will feature the duo’s adventures as they try out various outdoor activities. From camping under the stars to embarking on water adventures and road trips, they will immerse themselves in different cultures and explore action-packed activities.
Obviously packed with laughter, mischief, and behind-the-scenes moments, Are You Sure?! is set to give a deeper look into Jimin and Jung Kook’s undeniable chemistry and endearing friendship as they bond over a variety of unforgettable moments throughout the trip, immersing in different cultures, exploring various action-packed activities, and trying out local cuisines. The show will feature their adventures in the United States, Jeju Island, and Sapporo, offering a diverse range of experiences and locales.
Prior to this announcement, Jungkook had already hinted at this upcoming project during his guest appearance on Suga’s Suchwita. He shared how a travel variety show with Jimin had been in the works for a while. “On a shoot with Jimin ages ago, he said it might be fun to do a travel show with me, and I agreed. But it didn’t end up going anywhere after that. Then suddenly, they set up a shoot!†Jungkook’s excitement was palpable, and now, fans get to see this idea come to life.
With the five-time Grammy-nominated group’s much-awaited comeback in 2025, fans are buzzing with anticipation about what the future holds. The eldest member, Jin, who recently finished his service, is set to participate in the Paris 2024 Olympic torch relay as a torchbearer for South Korea, spreading a message of peace and harmony.
Are You Sure?! will be available for streaming every Thursday starting August 8 and will conclude on September 19.
