The Gothic ‘A’ is Back: adidas and Arsenal Drop 2025-26 Home Kit Redefining What ‘Home’ Means

Sharing is caring!

Arsenal fans, get ready—your new armor has arrived. adidas and Arsenal have just dropped the 2025–26 home kit, and it’s more than just a shirt. It’s a statement. Reimagining a piece of Arsenal history, the iconic Gothic-style ‘A’ returns, anchoring a design that celebrates identity, legacy, and the emotional heartbeat of the club.

This isn’t just about fashion—it’s about feeling. The campaign, aptly titled The Heart of Arsenal, explores what “home” means beyond a stadium. Through a powerful short film set to the real heartbeats of Arsenal players, supporters are reminded that home is a feeling carried wherever you go.

A Crest Reborn, with Performance in Mind

The centerpiece of the shirt is a repeated Gothic ‘A’. It’s a throwback to the ‘Victoria Concordia Crescit’ crest first seen in the 1949/50 season. The design became legendary during the 1990–91 league-winning campaign. But while the roots are retro, the tech is cutting-edge.

Made with adidas HEAT.RDY for superior breathability and AEROREADY for everyday comfort, the new shirt balances style and performance. Structured mesh fabric and 3D-engineered ventilation zones ensure it performs as hard as Arsenal fans do in the stands.

From the men’s and women’s first teams to the youth squads, every player will wear this unified design. And yes, it’s sustainable—crafted with recycled materials to align with adidas’ ongoing commitment to a greener future.

A Tribute to Community and Culture

The launch coincides with the 40th anniversary of Arsenal in the Community. In particular, it highlights initiatives like Premier League Kicks and Football Plus, which empower young people through football. This kit isn’t just about the players—it’s about the people behind them.

Midfielder Myles Lewis-Skelly said it best: “I love our new kit, it looks fresh – I’m excited to wear this in front of our incredible supporters.” And from Arsenal Women’s captain Kim Little: “Supporters are at the heart of everything we do. We carry our supporters with us, and they carry us with them, no matter where they are.”

The 2025–26 home shirt will debut on-pitch when Arsenal faces Newcastle United at Emirates Stadium on May 18.

Ready to rep your club? The Arsenal 2025–26 Home Kit is now available for pre-order via adidas Brand Centre Orchard, adidas VivoCity, Suntec City, and other selected stores—or online at adidas.com.sg/arsenal.
