Heineken® Turns 150: Celebrating a Legacy of Good Times in Singapore

Singapore has always been known for its vibrant culture, unique experiences, and the ability to put a local spin on global trends. This year, Singaporeans have yet another reason to celebrate as Heineken® marks its 150th anniversary of championing Good Times around the world. To commemorate this milestone, Heineken® has planned an array of exciting activations and collaborations, offering consumers in Singapore the opportunity to fully immerse themselves in the spirit of Good Times.

As a brand that has always valued inclusivity and open-mindedness, Heineken® has played a pivotal role in shaping culture. To kickstart the 150th celebrations in Singapore, Heineken® has partnered with local cultural pioneers, The Salvages, to create a special collection of t-shirts called “He150ken® | The Salvages.” This collaboration pays homage to Heineken®’s 150 years of Good Times by remixing classic designs from the brand’s archive of posters and design elements. The collection is not only a fashion statement but also a joyful tribute to the promise of more Good Times ahead. Each t-shirt comes packaged in a commemorative collectible He150ken® can, adding a touch of exclusivity to the celebration.

Fans can now purchase the limited edition He150ken® | The Salvages t-shirts at http://bit.ly/He150ken-TheSalvages. The first 50 fans who make a purchase will receive an exclusive invite to the He150ken® | The Salvages Party, an exclusive by-invite-only event held at an undisclosed location. It promises to be an unforgettable experience, filled with Good Times and surprises.

Heineken®’s commitment to celebrating Good Times extends beyond fashion. The brand has also collaborated with local visionaries from the music, fashion, arts, and lifestyle scene, known as the Glocals, to create four limited edition bottles. Inspired by their own experiences of Good Times around the world, these creators have designed unique bottles that reflect their personal interpretation of celebration and enjoyment. The result is a collection of four captivating designs that resonate with different passions and inspire people to create even more Good Times with Heineken®.

Limited Edition He150ken® Bottles

Starting from 29 June 2023, fans will have the chance to win these limited edition He150ken® Bottles designed by the Glocals. The bottles will be available as prizes across popular drinking spots. Fans who create their own Good Times with Heineken® will have the opportunity to win these exclusive bottles at the Loot Box locations, with clues to the location being revealed on the @heinekenSG Instagram Stories. In addition to the limited edition bottles, participants can also win other exciting prizes such as limited edition merchandise and a trip to Amsterdam.

For those who are looking to showcase their unique versions of Good Times, Heineken® has something special in store. The brand is inviting consumers to join them at their Good Times Star pop-up, where they can show off their favorite moves for a chance to enjoy an ice-cold Heineken® on the house. Whether it’s dancing, posing, or simply letting loose, the Good Times Star is the perfect platform to express individuality and celebrate the joy of living in the moment. The pop-up will be located outside Mandarin Gallery from 1 to 23 July 2023, operating daily from 11 am to 9:30 pm.

The pinnacle of Heineken®’s 150th celebrations in Singapore will be the Destination Good Times event, a two-day extravaganza of culture, creativity, and music held on 28 and 29 July 2023. This celebration will feature a global music platform that is making its Singapore debut, featuring both established and up-and-coming local DJs. Additionally, the World Bar experience, created in partnership with Sago House, will captivate visitors with a tantalizing display of Heineken®’s global presence and local flair. This unique experience will showcase how Heineken® is savored around the world, with a Singapore twist.

Heineken®’s 150-year journey has been dedicated to championing Good Times and providing memorable experiences for its consumers. Through collaborations with local cultural pioneers, limited-edition merchandise, interactive events, and the grand finale of Destination Good Times, Heineken® invites its fans in Singapore to celebrate this milestone together.
