The chateaux are now in full action for this year’s le vendage (harvest), and what could be interesting for us is to see it LIVE even we’re thousands of miles apart! On 17th September, let’s all travel virtually to the Right Bank of France’s Bordeaux wine region in the commune of Saint-Émilion and witness Chateau Troplong Mondot labor-intensive process of harvesting their grapes by hand by the vendanguers (grape pickers), sorting, and juice tasting. It’s the busiest time of the entire winemaking year for the châteaux, but we will make our way!
Accompanying us in the live virtual session is the Chateau’s Commercial Director, Mr. Ferréol du Fou, tasting some of the most excellent vintages of Chateau Troplong Mondot. Also, we are featuring an Avant premiere of their second wine’s latest vintage, Mondot 2017. The said wine will only be released this September, so we will be the first to taste it globally!
